Competitions scores
The score held by professional and international Taekwondo competitions is based on the official regulations of the WT federation and the valid points are:
-One point for a valid punch to the breastplate.
-Two points for a valid foot attack on the breastplate.
-Four points for a valid turning attack on the breastplate.
-Three points for a valid attack to the head.
-Five points for a valid head spin attack.
-One point (to the opponent) for each "Gam-jeon" (foul).
At the end of the 3 rounds of the complete competition, the points of each competitor are added and whoever has the most points wins the fight.
